Nac-sr is a pain killer used to treat pain and swelling in joints, muscles and tendons caused due to conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, ankylosing spondylitis, backache, sprains & strains, soft tissue sports injuries, frozen shoulders, dislocations, fractures, tendonitis, tenosynovitis and bursitis. Take medicine with food to avoid stomach upset.

This medication may cause side effects such as oedema, nausea, headache, dizziness, vomiting, itching, flatulence, indigestion, pain in extremity. Inform your doctor if these effects bother or worsen your condition. Consult the doctor if you find blood in vomitings and stools, indicating bleeding in the stomach.

Please do not exceed more than the recommended dose as it may lead to toxicity and adverse effects. Do not stop the medication unless told by the doctor. You have to complete the course of the medication as prescribed by your doctor even if you feel better. Sudden abrupt stopping of medication may lead to increase pain severity.

Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant, have liver & kidney problems, and use any other medications.
