Maskofunf cream is an antifungal. It works by preventing the fungi from producing a chemical called ergosterol, which causes nail infection. The fungus cannot survive in the absence of ergosterol. As a result, the fungi that cause infection will die. You must follow caution as excess application leads to serious adverse effects. Do not stop the medication unless told by your doctor.
These medications' most common side effects are skin rash, irritation, blisters on the skin, nail disorder, burning sensation, and hives.
