Levomed tablet is a fluoroquinolone. Take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. It works by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called dna-gyrase and preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing them. Don't stop this medication unless told by your doctor.
These medications most common side effects are nausea, headache, diarrhoea, dizziness, and constipation. Inform your doctor if you experience any of the above effects.
Inform your doctor if you have a kidney problem. Bloody diarrhoea, also as a side effect, may occur. So, inform your doctor immediately if it occurs.
