Dompewal tablet is used in the treatment of indigestion, nausea, and vomiting. It also increases food movement through the stomach and intestines, thereby relieving bloating, fullness, and gastric discomfort. It works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting.
This medication dose and duration will be given based on your medical condition as prescribed by the doctor. Take this tablet orally on an empty stomach or half an hour before each meal. Medication must not be stopped unless told by your doctor. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take this medication longer than recommended by the doctor. Drink plenty of water while taking this medication as it may help to prevent dehydration.
The medication’s most common side effects are headache, dry mouth, and stomach pain. If the symptoms persist or worsen, you need to consult your doctor immediately. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication. You must follow caution as excess consumption leads to serious adverse effects. This medication may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy so, do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or have liver & kidney problems, and using any other medication. Dompewal tablet is unsafe in pregnancy.
