CIPROBID is a fluoroquinolone class of. it is used to treat bacterial infections like urinary tract, respiratory, throat, skin, soft tissues and lungs infections. it works by inhibiting dna replication by stopping bacterial dna enzymes (topoisomerase and dna-gyrase). thus it kills the bacteria.
diarrhoea may occur as a side effect of this. when you stop taking this, it will resolve; inform your physician if it continues. use this with caution in kidney disease patients.
the most common side effects of this are nausea and diarrhoea. allergic reactions like rashes, swelling of the lips, tongue, or face, or breathlessness may occur rarely. inform your doctor immediately if you experience them for a longer duration.
