BETACARD 25MG 14TAB

Betacard is a beta-adrenergic blocker agent used to treat hypertension, angina, arrhythmias and heart attacks by blocking the beta receptors found on the heart, which slow down your heart rate and makes it easier for your heart to pump the blood. Take the tablet as prescribed by the doctor.

This medication may cause side effects such as bradyarrhythmia, cold extremity, hypotension, dizziness, depression, fatigue, heart failure, myocardial infarction, ventricular arrhythmia, thyrotoxicosis, systemic lupus, erythematosus, pulmonary embolism and withdrawal symptom. Inform your doctor if these effects bother or worsen your condition.

Please do not exceed more than the recommended dose as it may lead to toxicity and adverse effects. Do not stop the medication unless told by your doctor. Sudden stopping of taking tablet may increase your blood pressure and leads to its complications.

Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant, have diabetes, liver & kidney problems, and use any other medications. Your doctor may recommend a blood glucose test as the medication may hide hypoglycemic symptoms in diabetic patients. You have to complete the course of the medication as prescribed by your doctor even if you feel better, as it may take several weeks before you get a full benefit.
