Take this medicine as prescribed by the doctor. Do not miss the dose even if you feel better. This medication has to be taken for several weeks or months for you to see or feel its benefits. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medicine. The most common side effects of arpizol are weight gain, headache, agitation, sleeplessness, anxiety, nausea and vomiting, restlessness, lightheadedness, and constipation. If the side effects persist or worsen, inform the doctor immediately.
Inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood or behaviour, new or worsening depression, or suicidal thoughts while taking this medicine. Your doctor may advise for blood sugar & cholesterol tests while taking this medicine.
