Adzapin tablet is an atypical antipsychotic. It works by blocking the effects of certain chemical receptors in the brain. Hence it improves your mood, behaviour, and thoughts. You are advised to take dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Take the complete course of medication, even if you feel better, and do not skip any doses. Medication must be stopped unless told by your doctor.
Common side effects are increased sweating, visual impairment, dizziness, headache, low blood pressure, weight gain, nausea, constipation, and tremor. If the symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant and have heart disease, diabetes, parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, or liver problems. Advise the patient to go for regular monitoring of blood count because this medication may cause low white blood cells
