Acton tablet treats fever, headache, body pains, toothache, and the common cold. It belongs to the class of non-opioid analgesic (pain killer) and antipyretic (fever reducers). It works by blocking certain pain-generating messengers that help in relieving pain. It also works by inhibiting the heat-regulating centre in a brain region that effectively reduces the fever.
