Nipple discharge occurs when fluid leaks from one or both nipples. It is normal for women to have some degree of discharge, particularly during pregnancy and breastfeeding. However, if the discharge is sudden or occurs without stimulation (squeezing the nipple), it can be a sign of an underlying condition that requires medical attention.

In order to stop nipple discharge, you should first identify any underlying cause. If it's caused by medications or hormones like estrogen or progesterone, speak with your doctor about switching medications or reducing dosages. If the cause is due to structural abnormalities within the breast tissue such as cysts, fibroids and polyps – surgery may be recommended to remove them.

If the cause isn’t known or doesn’t respond well to treatment then lifestyle changes are important in preventing excessive nipple discharge such as avoiding caffeine and eliminating certain birth control pills which can aggravate symptoms associated with increased hormone levels in your body. You should also avoid wearing tight bras that can constrict flow of blood circulation in breasts which might compound existing issues like fibroids, cysts etc… Additionally participating in regular exercise has been linked to decreasing frequency and severity of unrelated problems like breast pain and tenderness which could be compensating towards prevention /minimization of nipple discharges from occurring too frequently . Furthermore dietary modifications such as eating more plant-based foods has also shown positive outcomes on regulating female hormones;which could work vice versa on reduced occurrences on unfavourable results such as excessive nipple discharges related with hormonal fluctuations occurring during menstrual cycles specifically premenstrual phase typically referred PMS (Premenstrual Syndrome).

Finally it's important that you stay vigilant when it comes to monitoring any type of abnormal long-term discomfort arising out near nipples area , In case if no improvement had been observed after trying above methods then its highly suggestible that you discuss this matter further with health care professional evaluative actions so they would evaluate appropriate diagnosis regarding specific disorder/conditions leading toward possible necessitation for medication/surgeries;as experienced based practical approaches varies from person -to –person .
