Throwing up is a way for the body to get rid of toxins. It can be unpleasant, but it's usually a sign that the body is trying to heal itself. After throwing up, drink plenty of fluids (especially water) to help flush out the toxins. Eat light, healthy foods such as fruits and vegetables, and avoid fatty or sugary foods. Get plenty of rest, and if you're feeling especially tired or run down, consider taking a day off from work or school to allow your body time to recover. Finally, don't hesitate to seek medical help if you're concerned about your health or if the vomiting doesn't stop after a few days.
