Dr. Shrirang Dabhade works exclusively as a Diabetic Foot Surgeon and podiatric surgeon (special interest in pedorthotics), He has been in medical field for over 29 years. He graduated from JJH, Bombay. After completeing surgical training he worked as Lecturer in surgery at JJ Hospital before moving to UK. After clearing FRCS, he taught students in University of Liverpool. Dr. Dabhade worked in various specialties relevant to care of Diabetic patients including surgery, medical management, podiatry and orthotics. He returned after 13 years of work in UK, He was an examiner to medical students in University of Liverpool from year 2004 to 2013. He has been a teaching Fellow in the University of Liverpool, UK. He is fully registered with the Medical Council of UK in addition to the Indian medical council (MMC) His aim is, saving diabetic feet and keeping the diabetics walking on their own feet. This he achieves by patient education, prevention and early management of diabetic foot problem. He has special interest in diabetic patients with ulcers, gangrene,, cellulitis, vascular problems.
